Back in my 20's and late teens I did "Editorial Cartoons" along with serial cartoon strips. All were being published and I did pick up an Award for my Editorial Cartoon work. I was creating an Editorial Cartoon, a multi panel strip called, "The Kidd", using a worm and a cock roach called "squish"; Also a Multi panel strip of the, "Giant Tick" story. I'd have my friends pose for the reference pictures , giving the strip a realism effect.
Another Multi-panel strip about kids. Besides the editorial cartoon that was political bias, I also did the one panel strip called, "5 pence worth" Kind of like My 2 cents only in English coin. The twist was, if you put the five next to pence and look at the five as the letter "S" you get 5pence. Some got it some didn't.
The catch of it was, All these were being done at the same time.
Out in Los Angeles during my freelance days in my 30's I did art for a Greeting Card company every now and then and eventually started my own greeting card company. Within a year I had a line of 72 cards in several outlet locations but was made an offer to sell out the stock of cards I had on hand and I never went into a second printing.

Two babies.....One is Laughing and playing with it's feet the other is crying and crying and crying and crying. The difference. The crying baby is worried about the future that it can not see except through its own fear. The Laughing Baby playing with its feet is retarded...we should all run in fear and be scared every moment of our lives...wait....ooops...wrong ending....the laughing baby is living in the moment and not concern with the uncontrollable.
